(sometimes pronounced ‘Raw’). 

 

A creative, curator and commentator. With commitment issues to one specific field. Working within the mediums of performance art, photography, writing, music and event decor.

Experienced cultural facilitator, events producer and activist. 

 

Róisín also holds a BA in Journalism, where she specialised in print and radio, plus an LLM in International Human Rights Law (specifically Refugee Law, Business and Human Rights, and a research project into the role of activism in pushing LQBTIQ+ Law Reform).

“I’ve recently started to describe my art and mission as ''anti social media''.  anti social media can be two things:

 

'anti-social, media' which is simply documenting subcultures - such as the free party/illegal rave scene - or other forms of ‘anti-social behaviour’ (UK-ism). 

 

and then there's also 'anti, social-media'  finding creative and new ways to utilise the internet and its various platforms, without the reliance on ads and algorithms,  using it to find new ways to discover art and real community. Rejecting the traditional use of social media. Make the digital a bit analog again.”
